Privacy policy
1. Overview
Welcome to Mugs360. We value clear boundaries and transparent business practices. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you interact with our website, engage with our B2B sales team, or utilize our corporate gifting infrastructure.
2. Information We Collect & How We Get It
Because we operate a B2B model, the information we process falls into three distinct categories:
- Corporate Client Data: When you request a quote, pay an invoice, or contact our support team, we collect your business contact details (name, corporate email, billing address) and transaction history to manage our working relationship.
- B2B Prospecting Data: Our sales team actively reaches out to corporate leaders. We may process basic professional data (such as your name, job title, and corporate email address) obtained from public business directories, LinkedIn, or B2B networking platforms to introduce our corporate identity systems.
- Employee Fulfillment Data (The Choice Program): When a corporate client utilizes our prepaid Choice Program, their employees visit our site to select their personality-aligned vessel and securely enter their own preferred delivery address. We collect this data (name, shipping address, vessel choice) strictly to fulfill the individual order. By allowing employees to input this directly, we eliminate the need for Procurement to request, format, or transfer sensitive legal addresses from HR spreadsheets.
3. How We Use This Information (And How We Don't)
We use your information to fulfill orders, process corporate payments, and maintain our business relationship.
- Our Promise to Distributed Teams: By shifting the logistical burden off your procurement team, we act as a secure buffer. If your company utilizes our Choice Program, we guarantee that the preferred addresses and contact information provided by your North American workforce will be used exclusively for shipping their individual vessels. We will never add your employees to our marketing lists or sell their data to third parties.
4. How to Opt-Out of B2B Marketing
If you received a cold outreach email from our sales team and are not interested in our corporate services, you have the absolute right to opt out. You can reply directly, or email us at support@mugs360.store with the subject "Opt-Out," and we will promptly remove your professional contact details from our prospecting systems.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal or corporate data. We only share information with trusted third parties necessary to run our business, such as:
- Shipping Carriers: (e.g., USPS, Canada Post, UPS, FedEx) to execute our localized fulfillment strategy strictly across the United States and Canada.
- Fulfillment Partners: To route your order to the most efficient regional production hub for fast, reliable delivery.
- Payment Processors: To securely handle your invoice payments (we do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers).
- Our Platform Partner (Shopify): Our store is hosted by Shopify. Information you submit to our website is transmitted to and processed by Shopify to run this platform, securely process transactions, and provide analytics. Shopify may process this data in countries outside of where you reside. To understand exactly how Shopify handles data across its network, please review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Like most modern websites, our Shopify-hosted store uses cookies to remember your corporate portal login, keep track of your checkout process, and help us analyze basic website traffic. You can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, though this may prevent certain parts of our Choice Program portal from functioning correctly.
7. Data Security and Retention
By having employees enter their data directly into our Shopify-hosted infrastructure, procurement teams avoid the liability of holding and transferring internal HR data to external vendors. We retain corporate transaction records for tax and legal compliance. We retain employee fulfillment data only as long as necessary to ensure successful delivery, handle any immediate transit damage claims, and clear our systems following the 90-day credit expiration window. While no digital system is 100% impenetrable, our partners and we at Shopify utilize industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you reside in the United States or Canada, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, or request the deletion of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact our support team.
